Ingredients of Chole Bhature recipe in Punjabi style

cup onion, finely chopped

cup tomato, finely chopped

finely chopped
1 tsp,
finely chopped
1 teaspoon
ajwain
1 teaspoon
lime juice
1
green chili, chopped
1
tea bag
1
tablespoon butter
Ingredients for making bhatura
2
cups maida
½ teaspoon
yeast
½ cup
normal atta
A pinch
of salt
To knead
water
Oil for
frying
Method to make Chole Bhature in Punjabi style
1. prepare the Chole
*
take a pan add oil, tej patta, dalchini, laung, zeera, sabut kali mirch, choti
elaichi, badi elaichi
* after
it get brown then add chopped onion & saute it.
*
know add chopped ginger & garlic
*
then add haldi, lal mirch powder, dhaniya powder, zeera powder, heeng &
salt
*
fry all ingredients together well
*
for glazing the pan add some water.
* after stirring well add tomatoes, little
sugar & salt to chole
* now
add ajwain, chopped green chilies & water for the base
*
for getting the color to the chole add tea bag in masala
* cover
it & cooked mainly till 1 hour
*
after cooked, add lime juice & add some butter to it
* finally,
chole is ready
2. prepare the Bhature

then sprinkle the yeast on the top of dough & leave for 2 to 3 hours for
the yeast to work
* divide
it into equal portions then roll out in an oval or round shape
*
then do deep fry till it become golden brown, like puri
